Hana Mitsubo Brass Vases by Nousaku

Literally meaning "to prepare sufficiently" GUSOKU is the term to refer to armoury in classical Japan, as well as the pray implements such as when used in "san gusoku(three items)" or "go gusoku(five items)".

Light, flower and scent are the basic three gusoku -- you light a candle,offer flowers,and burn incense.

Offering flower vases, candle stands and incense s made using traditional techniques of Takaoka Copper, Nousaku hopes to lend time to talk to a loved one, express appreciation, and to reflect on yourself.

Although inspired by traditional Buddhist altar items, these range is designed also to be used individually in daily life. These vases are old yet new, designed not for special occasions but for everyday moments.

These beautiful vases from NOUSAKU are handcrafted by skilled craftsmen and will therefore slightly differ from one another. The beautiful details are polished by hand and the Takaoka-city authentic materials beautifully come to life and compliment whichever plants or flowers you decide to place in them.

-Wipe clean with a soft cloth.

-Do not use brushes or metal polishers as the surface may be damaged.
