NOUSAKU GUSOKU SERIES- Incense Cone Container

Literally meaning "to prepare sufficiently" GUSOKU is the term to refer to armoury in classical Japan, as well as the pray implements such as when used in "san gusoku(three items)" or "go gusoku(five items)".

Light, flower and scent are the basic three gusoku -- you light a candle,offer flowers,and burn incense.

Offering flower vases, candle stands and incense s made using traditional techniques of Takaoka Copper, Nousaku hopes to lend time to talk to a loved one, express appreciation, and to reflect on yourself.

Although inspired by traditional Buddhist altar items, these range is designed also to be used individually in daily life. These Gusoku items are old yet new, designed not for special occasions but for everyday moments.

This Jurokumen Kotsubo is an elegant faceted container with 16 sides created using traditional casting techniques passed down through generations for over 400 years in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. It gives one the experience of enjoying a modern yet ancient piece with its antique finish.


It is available in 2 finishes that are inspired by traditional brass finishing in Japan:  Golden Brown / Blackish Brown.

With its simple and elegant look carefully crafted by skilled craftsmen, it  will harmonize with any style of interior & furniture. It is made using traditional casting technique which has been passed down through generations for over 400 years in Takaoka, Japan.
