Mizusu Kama Usuba 18cm Knife
Mizusu Kama Usuba 18cm kitchen knife with bigleaf magnolia octagonal wood handle and buffalo horn collar (kakumaki).
The Kama Usuba has a Kamagata (Literally, “sickle-shaped”) tip blade profile. It is particularly useful for precision cutting and decorative cutting techniques.
The knife utilizes a flat blade and as with the Santoku is meant for chopping vegetables as well push and pull cutting and chopping. The between the Kama and the Santoku is that the Santoku has a blade curvature for rocking and chopping and the full flat blade of the Kama means that when you cut the full flat blade makes contact with your cutting surface making for a full cut and less chance for vegetable pieces to remain uncut by a fine thread. As such, the Kama is the more efficient for delicate cutting needs.

Blade Type: Single-edged Blade
Steel Type: Premium Blue Steel (Ao-Hagane)
Handle Material: Big-leaf magnolia octagonal wood handle and buffalo horn collar
